SteamCon 3 photos

We had a great time as usual. Not as many Steamlanders this year, but we few who attended had a good time drinking tea and attacking Magz's yummy gingerbread!

SteamCon ahoy!

This year it will be in Bellevue, just east of Seattle, on October 14-16. My other half, Gordon (a.k.a. Mr. Peterman) will be giving a few talks and hosting a few more. Here's his schedule:

Friday  6-7  19th Century Submarines, Fact and Fiction (moderating)
Saturday 10-noon  19th Century Firearms (this is a "don't miss" talk)
Saturday 1-2 "Steamy Sailors" (moderating)
Sunday  11-noon "Ironclads of the Civil War and the race for Naval Domination"
Sunday  2-3 "Confederate Privateers"

Nighty night!

A little birdie told me there were no nightshirts for sale in the general Marketplace, so I give you...
Includes a sculpty night cap with flexi "tail".

New from the Near East

In anticipation of the opening of El Casbah, here's the first of a new line of Victorian/Edwardian Orientalist clothing. Wear it for your next exotic photo session, to a gypsy party, or to dance in. Photo-sourced from my very own clothes! Really! Even the necklaces (optional on shirt, coat and vest layers).

Available at my downtown shop, and then at the Casbah when we officially open.

...now...

Here's a tintype with this very outfit plus a heap more jewelry and hair geegaws.
