Happy Valentine's Day!

Attended a charming poetry salon at the home of June Wozniak in Caledon Wellsian. Most of the poetry was typed, but a few of us braved the perils of "voice" to actually read our selections. John Donne, WH Auden, and other standbys were represented, including a selection from Rainer Maria Rilke presented by Col. Somme. Several individuals presented original works, which were well-received. I was pleased to see the ladies and gentlemen properly accoutered, for the most part, with visiting costumes (for the ladies) many with hats, and jackets without hats (for the gentlemen). The gentleman pictured above is an exception. I think he's rather new to the 19th century, but I'm sure he'll get up to speed.

You are correct:

Rainer Maria Rilke is the name of the poet who's work I read.
