...and more hats!

I've been coaxed into adding a line of 1920s style fedoras to my new haberdashing enterprise. They are all copy/mod, L$100 each, or in groups for a savings.

Leg o' Mutton sleeves

Add these to any 19th century shirt and turn it into a Gibson Girl shirtwaist! I sculpted these with obvious gathers at the shoulder and a lot of additional drape built right in to the texture so these prims are NOT dependent on a special "fabric" texture for them to look good. Note: these are the sleeve poufs only. Shirts are sold separately. They are copy/mod, so you can really use them for a lot of applications.

Campaign Hats

My first line of hats is inspired by the US Army campaign hats of the late 19th century. Popularized by Teddy Roosevelt and his Rough Riders, these hats are perfect for a "working man" look. They would look great on a surveyor, engineer, woodsman, or cowboy...or just on your day off. Available individually for L$100 each, or all four for L$300. They are copy/mod, so very customizable.

And now for something completely different: hats!

First up will be four different "blocks" or "crushes" of the late 19th century standard issue campaign hat, popularly known as the Rough Riders hat (Spanish American War). Available will be the standard block (see Steelhead Militia uniform, above), one with a pushed up front brim, rolled brim (sides), and of course...the Teddy block:

Online Catalogue!

Well, it's basically just a web site for the Peterman Ltd. store, and an easy way to quickly look through my inventory.

Coming soon: sailor skirt!

Just in time for Summer (in the northern hemisphere, anyway), a sporty sailor skirt! Based on gored walking skirts that were popular at the turn of the 19th century and into the "teens", this is perfect for a "Gibson Girl" outfit.

Each color comes with both black & white trim versions and glitch "drawers".

Riding Coat: now in navy blue!

Adding to the stable of Riding Coat colors, so far available in green & red, we now present Navy Blue! Available at the downtown Steelhead shop, across from the Train Station.

Special thanks to models Hotspur Otoole and Eva Bellambi for posing so graciously for me! Who else was I going to get to model the "navy" blue coat, if not my favorite naval brawlers?

New tree for spring: Pink Dogwood!

Comes with both early (developing blooms) and full-bloom version. Copy/mod. 2 prim with a nice sculpty trunk. Photosourced from the one in my yard! Available in downtown Steelhead and my Garden Shop in Steelhead Boomtown.

If only this were a joke

I just logged in to xstreet to add some inventory, and was confronted by this on page one. Are there really people in SL who think that this is an attractive look? Seriously. Does a person just wake up one day thinking, "I know! I want to look like a drunken skank who forgot to pull up her pants after visiting the loo!" What's next? Bikini tops with one boob hanging out? Wait, don't answer that. I don't want to know.

Coming soon: coats of many colors!

Well, navy blue, anyway. The double-breasted wool riding coat will very soon be available in navy. It's already out in red and green, with grey, black, brown, and white to follow. Stay tuned!

Now on Facebook!

Yes, I've finally bitten the virtual bullet and made Nabila Nadir a Facebook page. Click on the "badge" in the left column here to visit the page. Mostly, it's just a place to share photos, plus it's an easy way to see what's in the Peterman Ltd. inventory.

You guessed it: everything green is half off! This includes the new full-length wool riding GREEN! This applies to clothing at the main store only.

Valentine's Day Sale!

From now until Valentine's Day (and probably a few hours over), all red and (shudder) pink items in my store are 50% off! This includes my new double-breasted riding coat. The other colors (besides red) will start to hit the shelves starting next week.

Plants for Spring!

Snow is gone from Steelhead, Caledon, and many other places in the virtual Northern Hemisphere. Why not add some foliage to your temperate climate landscaping? Rhododendrons can stay out all year, since they're evergreen. This set of one-prim srubs comes with three sizes/shapes, including blooming versions for Summer!

It's not too early to put out crocuses (crocusi?) either.
By single colors or the 3-color pack of copy/mod perennials at my main shop just south of the Steelhead Train station, or at my homestead shop in Boomtown.
